myst V - Demo question how to solve?

hallo, i just downloaded the above demo and cannot wait for the game to come out. i plaued all the previous myst games and this seems to be another good one to come. the grafik is fantastic and everything runs smooth.
question: can someone give me an idea how to get started? i moved around and got up the ladder. i also found below the tunnel. i just don't know what to do in order to continue.
