As usual, thank you a lot to Ferdinando D'Amico for his historical help.

Three G10s "Erla", a bird not present in FB, so you might use the G6/AS slot. The panel lines are those of the G10 Erla anyway.

The aircraft carried two different wings, due to a substitution.

Nice effort http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif I like how you can see the faded German markings. Nice touch! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Abraxa, I really like your Italian 109's http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Is there any possibility of you releasing a blank or no number skin to use for mission building...to fill out a squdron? Or even better, a few more Italian 109's http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Islander, I already made some 109 ANR and Regia Aeronautica's skins, and namely a K4 and two G6.
I'm currently planning more Italian 109s, waiting for the addon with the Italian planes.

As for your request, no problem. Will release some generic skins http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks to Abraxa for his fantastic work and for his patience in following suggestions and endure my comments... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If I may, I would like to suggest only one small correction: as the real "3-5" had the long tailwheel, it would be better to put that skin into the G-10 slot, for more accuracy.

All the best

Ty Ferdinando. It would have been impossible to make an accurate work without your care and help for the details http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'm currently working on Bellagambi's 109. The screenshot below is absolutely wip. The markings on the wings and on the fuselage have been corrected according to your indications (the screenshot was taken previously), and the weathering has to be completed and calibrated.
Anyway here it is...

I also thank you Abraxa for some wonderful skins. I look forward to your postings

With regard to the Bellagambi skin I have a picture of a model with the W.Nnr 785749 for his aircraft. Did he fly more than one G-10?

No. The plane represented in the skin is the same as the ones previously depicted in two of our former books. We erroneously assumed then that the Bf 109 G-14 seen in the photograph that Gen. Bellagambi donated us (I am referring to me and to my co-author Gabriele Valentini) was photographed in March 1945 and, according to the data written by the pilot in his personal agenda, the last "yellow 1" he flew was the W.Nr. 785749.

Further researches and the evolution in identifying correctly late-series Bf 109s allowed in the following years to determine that the 785xxx batch belonged to the G-14/AS series, much different in aspect from the plane of the photo and almost visually identical to a G-10.

This (and the data in Bellagambi's agenda) allowed us to determine that the plane shown in the photo was the "next to last" Gustav flown by the Italian Commander, namely the W.Nr.464380, which was an Erla-built G-14 and operated until mid-February 1945. This is correctly depicted (and explained) in our last published book.

Chris, you resurrected an old one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

In the meantime, some skins have been udated (the ANR K4, to name the last), and some more will be. I plan to rework and update all my ANR skins.

You can check here.
