Need Answers about playing this game

ok, i have a few things that is bothering me about this game sh3, sometimes when i shoot torpedos, the crew will not reload them, it says wating in line for reload or queue or something like that, THEY ARE NOT TIRED. and i have all the guys in there!! and it is set on reload auto.

another thing, Why the heck wont my guys repair the sub sometimes? sometimes i click on parts of the sub and u can see the tool fixing it, other times they dont do anything. and nobody is tired and i have everyone on damage control.

and what is the best AMMO used for a deck gun to sink a ship fast?? thanks guys!!

Ok mate an easy one here....

The crew won't do anything when you are 'silent running'...otherwise they will make a noise and you will all die!!!

As for which is the best ammo...if it a tanker use high explosive..on others shoot below the waterline. Trial and error.

one more other thing, i see a lot of pll r using the mod GWX 2.1... when i go to download it i see a WHOLE BUNCH of other files. can someone plz direct me to the corret one?? i also have this SH3commander installed too.

i also see a lot of .bin files, never seen them before, how do they open?? if that is the correct one

Hi denniz88,

if I remember correctly the GWX 2.0 download is chunked into eight parts - one EXE and seven BINs.
BIN files are compressed files - like ZIP or RAR - and your computer is capable to handle them.
(The EXE reassembles the BIN files!)
For upgrading to GWX 2.1 you'll have to download another EXE (GWX2.1.exe) - no BINs for this upgrade.

hey so i got gwx2.0 on and im trying to install the update 2.1...

only thing is, it says that sh commander files were found and i have to roll it back. how can i do this??

Hey denniz how you doing,

ONE VERY IMPORTANT thing to remember.
before you install any supermods such as GWX2.0
or the addon 2.1 you MUST rollback SHCommander BEFORE you install the supermods! there is an in depth manual about GWX on the afore mentioned
website, read it carefully before you do anything. Also the best thing to do is start with a clean vanilla install of SH3, THEN install patch 1.4, then SHCommander, then GWX2.0
then 2.1, then the SHCommander exe. file so you can run the 2 together.

I hope this helps with any further confusion.

One more thing i forgot to add....If you ever need to make ANY changes to install after you've installed SHCommander or GWX. whatever you do make sure you rollback SHCommander first
then disable any active MODS in the MOD enabler that comes with GWX! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

SH3 Commander has a useful 'automatic rollback' feature which you can enable in the Options window. This seems to work even if SH3 crashes to desktop.

Also, with regard to installing GWX2.1 and SH3 Commander, remember there are some special files that comes with GWX that need to be installed in SH3 Commander's folders.
