Hi all,
i've landed on a weird thing the other day while hosting. Here: i was hosting for me and my friends the other day (Coop story mode) and we were 4 players (on 4). A bit later someone leaves so the server ends up being 3/4 and i wasn't in the mood to restart the server only to put it 3 players, so i left it on 4 slots.
But since we want to play by ourselves (friends/clan only) i end up having to kick people when they join. And the in-game "kick command" (right-clic on a name on the player list) has the "bad habbit" of letting people rejoin as soon as they want, so i kick through punk buster for XX minutes (pv_sv_kick [slot #] [time] [reason | private reason]), knowing that it should discourage people after a few attemps to come back. But first thing i know is the same person coming back before the kick time is out. So i retry the PBkick, and what!!!! ignored command/unknown ip.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif wth is that?!? ...so i kick through game now and i dont see them again...
So, did they just understood that after 2 kicks we didnt want anyoone else, OR, does PB need the in-game kick to work properly,....i dont know...but i ended up having to ban people instead of kicking after a moment, so they dont come back. ( i empty my ban list every time i start now)
Anyone has an idea???
