RESOLVED: Settlers 7 random errors each 10-20 min

Goodday,

I'm having troubles with settlers 7
i'm on mission 9 atm. (also had it alot before this mission )
but each 10-20 min i'm getting a error from settlers 7.
So i'm just saving the game for safety each time...

Maximus Formula
Intel Q6600 (2,4Ghz)
DDR2 800
GTX 260
Windows 7 64 bit ( also tried it on windows xp SP 3 but same problem )

Have you had problems like this with any other application or game? I'm assuming you dual boot, and since you are having the same issue under two different operating systems, I'd wager that this is due to a hardware issue. Make sure you have the latest nvidia drivers.

Do you notice that the crashes happen when you do something specific?

Yeah that's true i'm using dual boot.
i'm using nvidia latest drivers 197.45
but also tried some older drivers that where in the archieved.

I have tried several things but i think my memory is failing because i tried to use memtest(4.11) for my memory and i had several errors with memory i'm gonna try 2 another memory modules and hope my problem will get fixed.

I really thought it was my settlers 7 and also because i bought the game like 4 days ago and i haven't been able to play a decent evening settlers 7 (i want to start with multiplayer also soon but when it's keep crashing like this i don't like it! ) i haven't played any another game since i got settlers 7 ( yeah addicted :P )

but i tried another game yesterday after my memory tests and also had a error after 10-20 min of the game.

but thanks for the help ill try it tonight if it's my memory that is failing or another issue.

I also hear people talking about autosave?
i haven't seen any thing of autosave ( i have a file autosave under my save games but this is one from a few missions ago ) i haven't seen autosave in the last couple of missions.
( i already read that it is not possible to disable autosave ) but i haven't seen autosaving in a while of the last couple of missions

and these events are really random because one time im building new residences and one time i'm building new troops or conquering a new sector it's really random but it happens like 10+ times at a evening and it's driving me crazy.

Edit: i have tried the another memory and it works now pretty sweet it's fixed thanks
