View Full Version : Socom II Players Needed

I am new to the game, but having a fantastic time picking it up. The maps are such a blast, and the missions challenging.
Here is what I am looking for: a few friends to play with. It seems harder to talk to people on PS2 live than XBox Live, and I would not mind a friendly voice. Anyone care to join me on the servers some time? Check my schedule, and look for katscratch FD, or simply post here, and we can find a way to meet up.
Holy **** Kat what are you doing up as late as I am, its not healthy <.< >.>.... but ummm Socom 2 does sound fun
Now to find the disk and get on it... key word is FIND the disk
Alright, disk aquired. I'll look for ya if your on Katscratch

I'd love to play you and Jinx sometime, Kat. Just let me know or look up Gamemaster77. That's my primary name. My board name here, nbajammer, is also me (in an allied clan)

I wondered if you FDs only played online on Xbox Live. But this answers my question.
If I decide on getting the PS2 soon, I wonder if it'll be able to connect to North American servers (from here in Australia).

Kat:
I hate AIM. I can't make the bloody thing work. I have to work tonight but I'll jump on and try to catch you afterwards if you're still on. Or tomorrow I'll be on.

Tibbycat, we play all kinds of platforms. A good game is a good game, no matter what platform it's made on. I play a good deal of PS2 and Gamecube, I go through huge rashes of PC addiction, and I'm never without my GBA (especially now that I have a white one!).
LIVE is just the most visible because, as a team, it's an ideal platform for us to play on. Where we work so much with communication, the voice support really helps cut down on the weakness of us being so far apart from each other. We don't have to stop what we're doing to relay an enemy location or give a teammate a warning.

Yep, makes sense. A good game is a good game regardless of the platform it's on. I never understood the console war tribal mentality back in the days when Nintendo and Sega were at their prime.
Ahh, there's no similar voice communication on PS2 games online?
