CRASHES DURING INSTALLATION. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi

I got R6 Vegas for xmas but it won't install properly. It keeps crashing mid-installation saying there is a "feature transfer error" and the feature is "NewFeature1" I have everything i can think of- updating 3d drivers, installing it in safe mode, copying onto hard drive, I even exchanged the disc but still no joy.

If anyone has any ideas/thoughts, please reply!!! Thanks

Try to update your DVD-ROM's firmware.

Yeah tried that aswell but no joy, any other ideas?? I'm desperate! Also someone suggested turning off the virtual drives, i'm sorry but i don't have a clue what they are or how i could turn them off&gt; U know anything about that? thanks!
