Eyefinity works with Brotherhood, what makes you think they would remove it from Revelations?? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

okay I stand corrected it doesn't work on multiplayer wish I had of known that BEFORE I invested the coin in an eyefinity setup will we get a game update to allow it? let me guess this won't get responded to <<EDIT>> I was playing this before I went full blown triple monitor setup and it (multiplayer) worked on dual monitors which begs the question if it works with two why can't we have that screen size/res on three monitors or the full three - comeon ubisoft answer

hey is there a solve for my problem that i can't find even a single multiplayer game on my pc? is this my connection or is it the servers? i really want to play multiplayer cause i bought codex edition with Harlequin and Officer ( i really like them!)
so is there a solution?
(srry for my b@d english, i am from the Netherlands)

Join the club, my friend. This game's connectivity totally sucks. Forget about the port forwarding BS. Simple: Why does every other game I own connect fine in MP?

All ports are open and finding a game in MP is VERY rare. Ubisoft makes us wait for Revelations for a decent MP (maybe).

The support for this title is pitiful. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

so there is no solution? i have no problems either with other games.. DAMN!! i want to play online i only played one game after 2hours searching (when it just was out in Europe).. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I am not sure what problems everyone seems to be having - all I do is click play now, and if it puts me on a server with 1 or 2 people I quit and repeat. Takes 0-20 minutes to find a game, but once you do find one you can just keep playing until other people leave. Oh sure the matchmaking is ******ed and I have no idea why they didn't put in a server lobby, but to say you can't play at all? I played for 3-4 hours at a time with a friend for about 2 weeks and got to rank 50 no problem.

Having to twiddle your thumbs for 20 minutes on the off chance you find a match is not really what people expect out of a multiplayer component. The situation is ridiculous and the COMPLETE lack of interest from Ubisoft to improve it and maybe.. oh I don't know.. help?..their PAYING CUSTOMERS just boggles my mind. We get no patch! No presence in the forums whatsoever! They want us to pay for AC Revelations now. Guess what?

Well the 20 min is an extreme case for me, like 95% of the time it takes <5 min. While I agree that it's still ridiculous, I find it more ridiculous that you take a game with incredible SP and equally amazing MP (once you get into it) and attack the one aspect of the game that doesn't involve you playing it. That said, I think that all fixes they apply in Revelations (they are going to fix this right?) should be released separately and for free to all ACB owners.

I certainly hope so.. As for the game as a whole, ofcourse I appreciate the SP. It's truly a work of art! I love the game. That's why I'm frustrated with the lack of updates to fix not only MP connectivity, but fix issues in SP, like the jump-kill animation in virtual training which is still glitchy.. and with the lack of official response to any of these threads.

Ofcourse I'll buy Revelations when it comes out because the series is a masterpiece (despite my rant). I just expect better support after release.

I don't know if this has been posted, but I just bumped into it and I think that it is a huge design flaw.

The inability to replay the last sequence (without replaying the whole game)is a mini-disaster, despite the rationale behind the decision that I'm aware of and here is why. Not only is that one of the most interesting bits of the game, but also the one that's most significant for the story and, as months go by between the individual AC titles, things begin to fade!

AC is in huge measure about a brilliant and extremely well told story and because of this design decision, I'm losing the plot (and I'm sure I'm not the only one!). Please refrain from such solutions which can keep parts of the game crucial for its understanding from the players in the future (and if you could patch this in ACB at such a late stage, you'd really be my heroes).

That said, does anyone have a link to a decent recording of that part of the game?

EDIT: No! That one has sound removed (because of a copyright claim?!) and no subtitles!

Good to see that the number of collectibles (feathers/flags/chests) is reduced and now it is even better that you can just buy a map indicating these things so it less tedious.

The 100% sync thing appears to be too big part of the whole game in this installment. AC2 was good without it. Its main storyline was the main thing. And here you even have some missions (Christina) dependent on the percentage of sync. And those missions have some story in them. First I thought I would be able to get them with the synchronization I receive by completing the main story without trying to achieve the 100% sync in all missions. But I was wrong and now it looks like I am missing the rest of the Christina missions because I could not achieve 100% sync in all missions. Too sad.

Trying to achieve 100% sync may sometimes be too unforgiving, punishing and thus frustrating for the most part because of the poor checkpoint system applied to them. It’s when you go through an entire mission and make a small mistake in the end preventing you from getting the 100% sync and making you restart the whole mission from the very beginning not the part from the last checkpoint. Why not to use the normal save/load option instead of these checkpoints at least on the PC version?

Of course, I understand that achieving 100% sync is optional and I am not forced to do it. However, when it is like “you did not achieve full synchronization” in a big red message after every mission, reminding me every time that I am loosing and missing something in the game, my interest in this game is waning and my wish to continue playing it through grows weaker and weaker.

Obviously this 100% synchronization feature is there to increase a gamer’s wish to replay the mission in order to get the full sync. But after some 5 or 6 attempts with no result I don’t want to see that mission ever again. And coming across more and more of that kind of missions I don’t want to have this bloody total 100% synchronization any more. At first, when I was just starting to play ACB, I saw the number of all the markers of side missions, additional assassinations, restored memories etc., I thought that I would play through all of them and try to finish every single mission in the game, and then I can go play multiplayer. But now I don’t want to play all the side missions, I don’t want to play guild missions, assassinations, Da Vinci’s machines (the worst missions, especially, the bloody airplane and tank) etc., and I am missing Christina’s memories all because of this 100% synchronization. With this frustration I just want to finish the main storyline ASAP and uninstall the game to free the disk space for other games. I even don’t want to play multiplayer any more.

Do I buy this for PC or Console??

I think I want to buy this for PC but there is something that worries me. The PC version is $50 when xbox and ps3 is $60. Am I missing out on something with the PC version???? In my experience the PC versions of games always has better graphics, faster load times, and? more control than the console versions. Any Ideas?

PC games are almost always cheaper than console games. $50 is the default because PC devs don't have to pay licensing fees to anyone, unlike PS3 devs to Sony and Xbox devs to Microsoft. Which is why console games are $60.

since you lost the feedback from the old thread - just to reiterate that it's totally beyond belief how badly you mishandled the multiplayer. i was never able to join any games and now months later i can get in a game for a short amount of time if i wait for half an hour (not sure if that's because the system still doesn't work or because no one plays due to the system not working for so long).

whilst i'm trying to stick to my guns and not buy ACR due to your terrible support for the product i might well slip. that said, i've definitely not bought games which i was about to when i see they're made by ubisoft.

teh lolz in Australia PC games are between 80 and 90 a pop when just released, they argued the "exchange rate vs the us$" but guess what the au$ has broken parity many times and right now iirc is very close to 1:1 yet the new release games on the shelf for the PC are STILL 80-90 bux? console games are cheaper at around $60 for a newly released title, if only PC games were cheaper than console games here, I could afford more of them

Another vote for the incredibly frustrating camera angle changes in the tombs, I've given up on the 6th one as its just too random doing jumps like this one:

Other than that the game is a blast http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I have a problem downloading ACB. Each time the download manger reaches 2/12, it has this error message: "The file was not found on the server! This Ubisoft Download Manager maybe out of date." When i click resume, the same error pops up. Please fix this ASAP, i really want to play.
