Evidence Processing Twice

In Game 07-04, when I processed the evidence from the second crime scene, the game opened the next scene, but in the lab one of the pieces of evidence from the first scene restarted up again. Now I have evidence from scene 1 and scene 3 being processed in the lab at one time.

Are you positive that you're working on the same case set? Because this is possible if you're working on separate case sets. However, a new case shouldn't open up until after you've picked up each piece of processed evidence in the preceding case.

Has this situation blocked your progress or are you just informing us as to what has happened?
