Well, not exactly. I'm a 19 year old Aerospace student in Minnesota, looking for people to fly with on a semi-regular to regular basis. Schedule loosens up around when the semesters start, so I don't want anything I'd have to commit to flying with too often, nor would I want a group that isn't understanding if I've got to make my family or school come first. I've been in those sorts of groups in other online games and, quite frankly, isn't this supposed to be for fun anyway?

As far as a little bit about me, I enjoy flight sims. (Naturally) However, I'm studying and working on a program through the Navy to hopefully end up as a naval aviator. Right now, I'm working at a wonderful place called ACES flight simulation down at the Mall of America, where I get paid to play this game and teach others how to play it. Sweet gig, eh? www.flyaces.com (http://www.flyaces.com) (Yeah, I'll shamelessly plug for them, the boss is a great guy and it's probably the best job I've had.)

In any case, send me an email, post a reply, whatever works for you. Like I said, no big deal, just looking for people to fly with. I've got Ventrilo and TeamSpeak as well as hyperlobby if we need it, a copy of Pacific Fighters and am getting my grubby little paws on a copy of IL2:Gold. Like I said, I'm located in Central time zone of the U.S., -6 GMT. Available times are usually weekday nights as I work most weekend nights, but late night (11:00pm+) is always good.

Also, in case you're curious, my personal favorite aircraft would have to be the Spitfire Mk.IX.(Though at work I have flown most if not all of the various models and such that you can with IL2 & PF)

EDIT: Added time info

ShadowH,

Wow, what a coincidence. We recently had to send our last Aerospace student to the farm ... where my dad assures me he'll live a long and happy life and be able to run and jump in the rolling meadows.

The Fightin' Irish Squadron (http://www.fighting-irish.org) is a great group o'guys who come and go as they please. There are no meeting requirements and no ranks or rules to follow. We do expect you to be a gentleman though.

Well, if you can't fake being a gentleman, we'll take you if you buy a round.

On the serious side our members are into all sorts of activities. We have a strong group of mates who enjoy fully historical co-op sessions at least once a week. Others can jump on our servers for a quick series of dogfights or scripted missions. On Sunday, everyone from Kalifornia to Kotka get together and fly all day long.

You are invited to visit or busy forums. Please free to post a "hello" in our "Off Topic" forum and join in on any conversations you may find interesting on that or almost any other forum there.

Best of Luck,

:FI:Falcon

Shadow;

First of all let me start off by saying that I'm jealous as hell about your job!!!

The Fighting 2 (http://groups.msn.com/VF2FightingTwo/homeporttest.msnw) consist of about 8 member right now (trying to expand) we fly mainly Co-ops but have been known to fly in HL from time to time. We have a lose chain of command, for nothing more than just organizational reasons. As far as your schedule is concerned, I know how you feel. I, myself am currently enrolled in college and serving active duty, so don't worry about the schedule. If you like what you see so far, stop by the site and let me know. Thanks for your time.

If you're interested in flying predominantly P-38's and/or B25's, take a close look at the 13th Air Force for team-oriented fun in the US time zones.
