Game progress deleted?

Hey,
didn't see a post for this, so thought I'd bring this up because it seems this has happened to other people aswell.

Today when I came online to claim the Akali, I wanted to try it on Deniable Ops and I noticed that my progress has been erased.
I open hunter and all the maps show as "not completed" while I have completed them on realistic in hunter mode.

Same for Infiltration, beat all the maps on realistic some time ago, now they show as "not completed."

I beat the campaign on realistic, but now it shows that I haven't even started the campaign (can only pick the merchant market level.)
I also completed the COOP on realistic, now all wiped out.

All my upgrades and PEC are intact and the game still had my previous loadout saved. Also I completed one of the Last Stand maps on rookie, which shows completed on rookie.

So basically, everything which I completed on "realistic" difficulty, got wiped.

i had a similar experience, twice lol first time i played a split screen coop match with my sister (that didn't have any of the story or deniable ops stuff complete), and for some reason the next time i logged in as myself i only had that one level that i completed on the split screen coop with her. Also, it happened again but in reverse, because i had everything completed but when my sis logged in all of sudden she has the same completion as me (with like 5 achievements that she never actually completed lol) but without actually doing it... i think it might have something to do with who starts the match for deniable ops, for some reason it overwrites BOTH profiles progress on each map with whoever initiated the game... just a guess though, could be completely random. I would try and test it out, but i don't wanna risk losing anything. It's especially weird though cause its just the levels... achievements, PEC challenges and unlocked items are all fine.

yeah this is very strange and it seems I'm not the only person whose game data is gone.

It'd be nice to get an official word on this , because I think this is a very severe issue/glitch. Coming online to find that most of your game progress is gone is a very big pain in the butt.

I think most of us, if not all of us had this once. It's ridiculous you have to make a back-up of your Xbox 360 savegame because not all of us have USB storage devices.
