How do you get the torches, lanterns and fluid????

I'm trying to get through the cave with the lighter Michael gave me and it keeps burning my fingers or out of lighter fluid. How do you get torches, lantern and fuel????

I'm trying to get through the cave with the lighter Michael gave me and it keeps burning my fingers or out of lighter fluid. How do you get torches, lantern and fuel????

You have to trade with Michael. You should have been picking up coconuts, water fruit etc. You can trade these for torches. You need 2 to get through the cave. When you get in the cave press i for itineray click on a torch then right clich the lighter, press i to go back and then e it will light the torch
