Calls a pulsating sound that mercs see on their sound device. Shoot it at a laser and it will set it off.

If you think I'm in that dark corner down the hallway, I'm in the dark corner you just walked by.

They do 2 things:

1. When fired at a motion detector or laser hub they will inform the mercs that that particular alarm has been breached.

2. If fired within a certain range of a merc they will simulate footsteps and other noises that will spoof his audio directional alarm system.

Heres a tip for using the alarm snare, if u play mount hospital there are 2 good tactics u can use. If u are in the middle of the hospital, second floor( the dark spot on the turn) hide behind one of the boxes and shoot a snare at one of the 2 lasered doors u can see. then when a merc passes run behind and grab, also on the bottom floor, hide under the escalator(left side of it so the flashlight of the merc dont hit u they usually go this way) and shoot a snare on the door with the bright room with boxes in it. they should walk towards it, then grab em and kill em

Alarm snares trigger electronic detection devices, such as lasers or motion sensors. They must attach to the detector, not near it. They are useful in creating diversions or setting up an ambush.
