Napoleon is going to suffer from the same mistakes as Empire, in that the units will all have guns and be standing in a field shooting at some other guys in a field...Where is the strategy in that, and don't say LoS cause thats just BS.

OK so I keep hearing from people that ODST isn't very good... this worries me. Apparently they took out the best weapons (but the human pistol is back yay) and instead of drop items you get night vision? Is the night vision as awesome as Splinter Cell or what's the deal here?

Are you kidding...I'm ****ing awesome.

You can shoot someone and it doesn't show you as hitting them, so you fire some more and they eventually die. Even if it does show you as hitting them it's too small to even notice.

Personally i loved it. I found it to be so much better then H2 and H3, an roughly on par with the first in terms of awesomeness. It yes short, but i guess it all depends on what difficultly you play, how good you are at halo (although that basically gets thrown out the window as you have no shield) and if your cooping it. It took me roughly 8-10hrs by myself on Legendary to beat it.

Also all the same weapons (- the BR) are in the game, you just cant Duel Wield, also the fact you dont have a shield makes it SO much harder... i died nearly 4 times just trying to kill the first group of enemies you meet in the game as it is such a difference (and that the Silenced SMG sucks hardcore) As for dropping weapons... you can still do that... so i dont know what to say http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif i found myself using the Pistol and then either one of the 2 snipers or the plasma carbine the most along with a mad amount of grenades(as they are the easiest way to kill brutes since the pistol and SMG do nothing to them it seems). As for the NVG's, i liked them. I also found that when you wore them the game looked visually so much nicer and had a much more real look to it (kind of like the walker thing in FEAR 2 if any of you played that - also a f'ing amazing game if you havent scary as hell and you have to play with the lights off and the volume up to make it better http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif)

The story in the game is also quite good, as its all mainly flashbacks telling you what happened as you search the city for your squad. But the ending was kind of lame i wont lie http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif As i BELIEVE it was meant to leave you off where the covenant start to escavate the city at the start of H3 but im not sure as they dont tell you... or there setting up another ODST game (but i wont give away the ending)

ODST: find someone selling it for around $40-$30 that's how much it was originally meant to be
PSPGO: If you have plenty of UMD games the answer is simply NO, the go is more for non-PSP owners and as far as i know Sony still supports UMD's

I think so. If you like dungeon crawlers, that is. Character customization is meh but gameplay is fun. I didn't get to try out multiplayer but it sounds great. You can join another person's game and hunt them. Plus, if you come across a splatter of blood, you can bend down and see how that person died. Like, if they died because of a trap in that level, you know what to look for and if they died from, say, a dragon you know it's time to run! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Plus, it's really beautiful. Graphics are great.

The story is much better than the other games so are the cutscenes (Cheiftan scene is ace). The battles are more intense and you go round (on higher difficulties) thinking can I avoid this one, I need ammo/health.

Its a fun game to play.

Finaly got operation flashpoint 2...very nice, very realistic and the graphics are great. I would prob say its much better than modern warefare 1,but ive only gotten to the 7th mission so wont comment to much until ive played a bit further...so far I'd give it a 9.0...

my opinion:

both Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 have the potential to be the greatest FPS of all time. Each person will think differently, depending on where their allegiance is. Mine is with BF:BC2, someone else's might be with MW2.

My original rating of the game has droped down to 7.5. There is a few glitches and there is not much of a story line to it. game play is fun but they could have done a much better job on the game...

That game was to freaky for me, played it for bout 10min until that freaky chicks face sudenly appeared right infront of me and almost backfliped off my chair...

I heard AC2 is good untill bout half way and the end is a bit stupid... Ill prob wait a few months till it is cheaper...my next buy will prob be ruse and BC2...and then mass effect2...
