Can you also list you full PC specs ?
If you are having Windows 7 or Vista, then try playing the game under 'Windows XP SP2 Compatibility Mode', and see if this helps you or not ?
If using Windows 7, then you can also try the 'Windows VISTA SP2 compatibility' Mode, but first go for the XP option.

That was a joke with the compatibility mode or?
RUSE supported Win7 and Vista, why i must use the xp compatibility mode?
I think i must write some details.
I use RUSE about 3/4 year and no crashes i see. This error come the first time. Now when i start ruse no error comes.
I write this error code, because i think developer can see this error and can fixed that.

Oh yes, I know that solution sounds weird/funny, but playing the game in XP/Vista Compatibility Mode has helped few RUSE Gamers help overcome this similar Error, as told by them. It may or may not help in your particular case.
I read this over at the STEAM Forums, so that was not my suggestion....
