Hi, I'm wondering if anyone here knows of a difference between the Official US retail version of SCCT (the one they sell at Best Buy, etc) and the "English Language" foreign imports everyone is selling from Malaysia and the UK.

Supposedly everything is the same, but I can't help thinking that something must be wrong for these versions to sell at $10 or even $15 less than the retail price.

I purchased a copy via Amazon, only to find out afterward that it's an import, not the official US version. Does this void the warranty? Is the quality of game/compatibility identical there to here? I'm especially concerned because it's a DVD game, and I know some DVD's are coded differently for the UK (region 2) and the US (region 1)

Thanks in advance to anyone who can fill me in. Here's hoping I didn't just get royally suckered. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
