Hi Gang, http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif
Ive just purchased Settlers Rise of an Empire, and keep getting a graphic bug with the grass texture/ terrain and crashes in campaign mode etc, i have set graphics to High and Low and still the same
glitch.
My comp specs are as Follows ,..CPUQ6850 2 x MSI 8800 ultra's ,Geil 4 gig ram ,etc (Vista HP OS)
Needless to say a Monster of a machine,(3yrs of
saving) Deeply disappointed to discover that new games have little to no support for 8800 ultra's (yet) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif
Since i cant get a response via emailing UBI was hoping someone out there might have a suggestion
as to my Prob with this game, or know of any more patches due out to support 8800 ultras?
if not , sadly i will be returning this game. thx for your time http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I think you'll regret it if you return the game. It's simply awesome http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I can't really help you with your issue - just give it some time. The game has only been for sale for a week - give it time to be fixed.

Also, report this to nVidia, they won't do anything about the problem if nobody tells them there IS a problem.

Thx Mate, http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif yes i really love the artists work on this version, it would be a last resort to return this as ive followed its progress with great anticipation, as for Nvidia already posted them , as usual, hehe, they all blame each other for driver issues with no positive outcome for the gamer, thank you very much for your post ,
Game on! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif
