far cry help

im wondering if anyone could help me, i brought far cry, this is the 3rd time but i keep having problems, when i put the dvd into my dvd player all it does it keep making a clicking noise, i know it cant be becuase the game is faulty as this is the 3rd farcry game i have tried, anyone know what the problem is?
