Ok so I consider myself a AC veteran.

I own NEARLY EVERY single armored core game EVER made!

And I was rather dissapointed with AC4 & the naturaly AC:FA
NOT because they were ports.
Not even because of the poor frame rate on the ps3 version or the yet still lack luster graphics.
OR the poor story.

BUT because of the normals!
WOULD it kill the to make the normal atleast resemble the normals from the previus games, never mind manuver like them and act like them?

And what happened to the dissmemberment from Armored core last raven?

I mean the series finaly became VERY good and then just reverted to somthing WORSE than the original ps1 title!!!

Don't get me I love the nexts and all but seriusly they could have been sooo much better!

I mean there were so many extra functions planed yet that were never included!.

I mean I don't know if most of you know this already but there is a reason why the aliya arm part widens towards the elbow.
IT BECAUSE the in the original plans it was intened as a "2nd arm " to detach from underneath there and stablize most of the weapons.
I'm sure you've seen some of those weapons?
they have there funny part that continue under the mechs hand?
those were where it was to attach and support the weapon.

And did anybody else have the inpression from the E3 trailer that the PA would be more like a sheild than an actual alternative to armor?
I mean that would have been cool?
But now its just more like an alternative to the radiator.

instead of worrying about if the radioator is right ya gotta make sure your PA is ok ...

SPEAKING of the E3 trailer, am I the only one remembering they promissed those graphics to be IN-GAME!
I mean the normals look like normals, the next look like fun to pilot and in the tech demo befor that the damage to the enviroment looks AWSOME!
I mean IT will probably be scard into my memory how good it looked watching that mech just tear of the top of that building with its back weapon!

Lately I've just found myself playing gundam: target in sight

As I feel it is the closer to a next gen ac title that ac 4 & AC fa themself!
IT has great visuals, awsome building damage ... as well as nice water affects and even damage to trees!

I think From Software could learn a thing or 2 from THAT game!

Not to mention the entire gundam series so far!

There is a reason its such a smash hit!

I mean why no include actual moral delemas that would determan the path the pilot takes?

Like for eg.
A mission where you get sent out to fend of or destroy an ac that is about to enter the earth's atmosphere and is for some or tother reason not alowed to be there.

you then intersept it in outer space and are face with the following chalange.

The ac has damaged a civilian shuttel and it is now heading for earth and cannot pull up or make a safe landing, at the same time some of your squad mates of fellow mission members might be under attach ... and ofcourse dead ahead of you the lone ac...

I mean from there on you could have the game head one way if the play saves the one of another if he chooses to save the other or even another if he kills the rouge ac.

OR even maybe a whole new path if the player is skilled enough to save both OR save both and fend of the other Ac!

Its not hard to see the great potential this game has!!!

As for normals why not offer two story options were you could ither follow 1 misson series as a normal and another as a next ( with the above mentioned in mind for both ) OR make the earnings in the missions SOOO little and the next parts sooo pricy that you have to EARN a next 1 piece at a time!

BUT then Pa should become a 2ndary sheild function, to make it fair and to make every mission possible to finnish with a normal.

OR maybe just bribe the player with a sweet bonus if he does it with a normal instead of a next.

And I don't know who thought it was a good idea to do this whole mission rating system and FRS points but as sombody who has scored a SS rating in both AC 4 and ac fa I like to say that I think they SUCK!!!!

THEY drain the fun factor out of the game ENTIRELY!!!!!

AND I feel it it would be better to NOT give " hard " and "normal" difficulty setting BUT to rather just make a game that becomes progressively harder!

I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to include those changes buit I don't think they will be missed from the NEXT AC game!!

I mean they clame to have made this game n00b friendly BUT by including that they just alienated ALL forms of NEW ac players!
Because AS SOON as that person hits online hes gonna get messed up by a VET like me who has unlocked all FRS points and can fly around his AC FASTER than HE/SHE can TURN!!!

THEY NEED TO STAND A FAIR CHANCE!!!

this was always the case with the old games, you could win with ANY mech! it was ither just a case of skill of a minor learning curve!

NOT to mention adding normal again would had a WHOLE NEW possibility for online play!
how about a multiplayer type where its like 10 normals vs 1 ac and then it works like a survival mission were the normals just keep respaning till the next goes down.
then the next player gets to take his next out for a spin against the normals and so on ...
OR somthing in that line?!

I know the ps3 has the potential for them to litraly COPY and PASTE the data in there for all the normals so far, and maybe even the 360!
Cuz personly I wouldn't mind if the Ac normals look JUST like they did in the last raven OR acted no better than they did either!
HECH to hell with terrain damage and all that just give is the progress you made so far BACK!!!

GIVE us vetrans back what we loved so much about the series!

And seriusly consider a huge chnge as far as were you guys were heading with this!

I mean the is probably the game that has the MOST untaped potential !

THEY just gotta be willing to put some PROPER WORK into it again!
ADD an EXTRA thick layer of polish!
LISTEN to some of the fans.
AND DON't ALIENATE VETRANS and n00bs ALIKE!!!!!!

Listen: I like the new graphics... I play on the 360. And I would like to see some stuff return as well. I would have liked the linear weapons and maybe the howitzers. I would have also liked to be able to customise my emblem much more freely. Instead, I move forward. I want an AC5. AC:FA ended on too much of a cliffhanger like AC:LR. Also, I tire of the AC designs we're stuck with. I wanna customise my own parts. The better looking parts sucked, and the high-end parts looked like crap. Just deal with your limitations, because I highly doubt they will fix anything in another AC game. I have been an avid fan ever since I played AC2:AA. It made me like the whole series. Ironically, that's the only PS2-onward game I haven't really had or beaten.
