Sorry mate, but your never gonna be able to run Splinter Cell with that graphics card. It's just not powerful enough.

1. It's a laptop.

2. Computers ship with obsolete graphics cards.

3. It's a freaking laptop.

skoko1982,
The graphics chip in most laptops, save the larger more expensive gaming laptops, are very weak and can only handle simple games. They just don't have the computing power to render a game like Conviction. Your options are:

- Xbox 360

- gaming laptop with a graphics chip like the 8800M or stronger

- dekstop with a decent video card like the 8800GT or stronger

Note: Mods, move this thread to the PC Conviction forum.

As a final note, I'd be extremely surprised if you could upgrade the graphics chip in your current laptop. The mobile tech to do that isn't quite there yet and only holds for a few special cases/models.

Umm, I don't know about you guys, but my NVidia GeForce 9600M 512MB can handle this game.

I don't see why a newer 100M series with double the memory can't.

It may not be SUPPORTED, but it sure as heck has enough power to work. I often find that unsupported cards are simply just M-series cards that aren't normally recognized, yet function almost as well as their desktop counterparts.

Check that graphics card. It has 1 GIGABYTE OF POWER IN A MOBILE FORM. It might not be as powerful as a desktop model, but it sure as heck has enough juice to play this game at 1024x768.

He doesn't need upgrades, he just needs to hit the bloody YES button to continue =_=

QED.

Maybe someday Ubisoft put a patch or update which will be the
setting for a graphics card Nvidia GeForce GT 120M 1GB

Wonder but until then I just watched the videos from youtube. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

No Aveelo telling someone that they posted in the wrong forum? This must be a sign of the apocalypse. I'm going in the fetal position as we speak waiting until the world ends.

You can try updating your drivers, skoko1982. Grab the latest version from nvidia.com. Don't forget to reboot after installing them.
