Ok, I've downloaded the Red and Black packs. I had to put my Hard Drive on another 360 because I purchased a replacement after an RROD issue (before the warranty extension). Everytime I restart my 360 and boot Rainbow, neither pack loads and I have to re-download them. I've tried deleting them and re-downloading as well as the previous method merely re-registers it as being downloaded. That didn't work either. Is there a way to fix this? I hate having to go through it every time I play.

I wish I could help you. But I have the same problem you do, it is annoying.

You might try the whole "cache clear/ maintinence trick", it works once in a while for some weird stuff. Turn on the Xbox 360 while holding A to remove old cache files from the hard drive. Note: Your saved games and media will stay intact, however downloaded game updates will be deleted. They can be restored by playing the game again while Xbox Live enabled.

Enter the "System" menu and select the "Memory" option. Highlight the hard drive, then press Y. The Device Options screen for the hard drive will appear, with "Rename" and "Format" options. Press X(2), LB(2), X(2) to clear the cache. Alternately, enter the "System" menu and select the "Memory" option. Press Y for device options, then press either LB, RB, X(2), LB(2), X(2) or for the newer drives X(2), LB, RB, X(2), LB, RB. You will get a message stating that the system is performing maintenance.

Good luck!

I know I'm not alone. Several clan members of mine have the same problem. It says in the FAQ to restart your console but I believe that it goes beyond the scope of tolerable when I have to do this all the time.

I've also had the same problem. Although for me it seems to be random and only happens for the black pack. Happened like five times in one hour to me. Restarting my 360 was the only thing that helped and I haven't had a problem since. If it helps you any, I restarted after I re-downloaded the map pack.

I think I fixed it. I deleted the packs and THEN cleared my cache. I re-downloaded both packs and booted up to get the patches. No problem since. Though time will tell if it is permanent.

Just to warn you TheGenMan, there are occasions when the maps won't load when you start the game. Going back to the dashboard will sort it - you do not have to re-download them again.

It just might save a little time.
