Hi! I have encoundered, from what I understand is a problem that sometimes appears in this game.
And here is a possible soloution, that at least solved the problem for me.
If you experiense a high pitched, squeeling noise with computer lock up as result after a couple of seconds.
Head into the Far Cry installation folder. And then the "Bin folder".
Open the Far Cry configurator. And under "Sound" disable "Dopler effect".
Hope this can be useful, for you who have this problem.
