Hi !
For those who managed to get the game work at least once, if you are willing to do so you can of course format and reinstall XP / Vista (for the (un)lucky(?) ones) and hopefully it will work for good this time.
Don't forget to install at least patch 1.1 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif (or maybe not if your game crashed after applying one of the patches :s )

But anyway Dark Messiah seemed to have corrupted all my source games in Steam before I reinstalled it. So it wasn't just one game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

This game should never have been released, with all the problems it has it is not fit for purpose. The mantra of help is 'make sure you have updated all your drivers'.

The only solution for this game is to bin it and forget about it.

Learn from your mistakes.
