well, Mine involves getting up mad-early in the morning and driving to the mountains and spending a few days of riding then coming back; a few times a season...
other than that it involves dirtbike tow-ins from my friend
But as far as lifestyle... what ever goes, just have fun

for meliving in BC means that mountains are 20 minutes away. Shredding happens, after school, before school, weekends, sunday mornings, or day offs, and I still have 3 mountains to choose from. Drive 2 hours and you get whistler, where most of your 2010 snow facilities are. Yeah drizzle I have to agree, the lifestyle for me is all about having fun, and pushing each other to their limits.

For me its all about progression... and what better way to do it then with a bunch friends constantly pushin each other to try new things.Livin in Jersey has sucked the past two years cuz we've gottin like no snow, but the one time we did, we set up like a 200 yard run filled with jibs and a kicker at the end, it doesn't compare to goin out west, but it was fun as hell.

My take in the snowboarding life style would be riding the mountain all day long just finding new ways to ride, new places to run,and new people to meet.My share of becoming a pro is way out of question for me I just whant to ride get free stuff from sponsers who dont drive the media after me and just ride with no worries.

You're pathetic. You should ride because it's fun not because you want sponsors and free stuff.

The snowboarding lifystyle, for me, is waiting all the year 'till february, the time to come when me and my family hit the Alps for just one single week. A week pumped with real, fresh snow, a nice park, jibbing for miles and miles, cousy evenings or wild nights and some alcohol.
After that single week, I feel on one side, sad, but on the other side, most of time the weeks were perfect and that gives me the energy to wait 'till next year. A year in wich I'm better in tricking, drinking and backcountry carving. Lucky for me, I mastered the basics fairly quick in an Dutch indoor hall and because of that, the fun times began early: the times when you got the skills to make up your own style of snowboarding and do whatever you want to do. As long as your board is a good fit for you, you got some spirit and you wánt to tear the slopes apart, you can. That all together is for me, the spirit of the snowboarding lifestyle.

Id say for me its all about pushing yourself. Its not about what other people can do its about setting goals and taking them down. But most of all its nothing with out having fun.

for me snowboarding is a way to get away from problems that are going at the time. Other wise it is a fun time just exploring the mountains to see what cool spots i can find on the mountain
