End War freezing PS3

I have had MULTIPLE problems with this game freezing when playing the solo campaign. You name it and I have had it freeze during it. I could not get a response from Ubisoft.. Gamestop swapped the disc for me but this did not fix the problem. I also spoke with Sony Tech Support and went through troubleshooting. Other PS3 games are not freezing.

We are trying to reproduce this issue, but its little hard to find it with such limited information.
Could you please provide more info about freezing like:
which mission you played in solo campaign?
What kind of behavior you did before this freezing issue?
Or if you know the location of this bug will perfect.

am experiencing the same freezing issue. I am playing in Single player and am in the Prelude to war section. Whenever a popup hit comes on, you cannot continue by hitting circle. It has also happened at the end of a mission when I am asked to hit X to continue. I have had some success by hitting the PS button and going back and forth to the menu, but it is disappointing. Is there a patch coming?

I've now had other PS3 games start to freeze. I am going to "bite the bullett" and send my system back to Sony. I am NOT happy about it.

I've had multiple freezes on TOW pretty much when im starting out on a map... on Moscow today... it freezes and doesn't reset.. music plays but no controls work.. and reseting doesn't work often

This happen also to me.

In fact, I bet it happen to all PS3 players.

But I wouldn't call that a freezing, but a miss of button click commands.

What I have discovered is:

When this happen (you pressed the appropriate button to exit or continue and nothing happen and this, even several times), try to do a double-click (like you would do with a PC mouse). In my case, it work almost every time.

At end of game quickly tap x. During the game pressing x does not work as opposed to quickly tapping when prompted.

it froze twice on me when the TOW server was down.
both under exact same circumstances

Started game &gt; skip movie &gt; attempted to access TOW &gt; error message saying the server was offline &gt; Press "OK" went back to main menu &gt; tried TOW again &gt; seemed like it was about to login (progress bar finished and went away) and froze with the background of the main menu the only thing that was visible.

restarted the ps3 did the exact same thing and it froze again.

my system is freezing also. it will freeze within 5 min. of playing on single player, skirmish, pretty much all modes. It does that with fallout 3 also. just once in a while though and after resetting it wont anymore for the rest of that day. End war is different it freezes during gameplay and loading menus. So what gives?

i plan on putting this comment in as many technical support threads as possible in the time that i have. i am sick of this game now after loving it even with all the issues in the game that have still gone unfixxed since its release. for the past 4 days i have had units get kia'd in a game where there is an AI commander which is fine but the thing that is out of whack and completely f'd up is that the KIA's count. but the money, and the unit promotions dont? that is the biggest corck of bull ive ever heard of and it has comepletely ruined the game hell in most cases it was my team that had the AI commander i mean if u can win a match with the AI on ur side that should be an achievement but no instead what ubisoft is saying is that when u see ur playing with or against an AI u might as well quit because uve got nothing to gain and evetything to lose u can lost units forever but u cant get money or promotions and that there friends is bull beyond beliefe and the fact that u cant have a persistant battallion offline in skirmish mode is also bull n skirmish is the only mode i will play until there is something done about this issue im sick of my units being able to get kia'd but not promoted it is not fair the money me personally i dont give a load about cause i have over 8 mill in reserves but i have lost hardened units and i have been withheld from 1star units and command vehicle promotions and other units so much i have it in my mind to tell everyone i know NOT to buy this game and im almost to the point of returning the game and getting 20$ for the game and putting that 20$ towards another game ANY OTHER GAME unless something is done cause this is bull

I have similiar problem as OP but on PC version. Game usually freezes after 20-30min of campaign gameplay (havent try anything else though). It seems that no matter which map is it. I have same problems in Far Cry 2. All other game work ok, including other ubisoft games like GRAW1/2, R6Vegas1/2, HAWX.
System specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium x64
Core 2 Quad Q9450
GTX260
4GB RAM
nForce 780i

Game is up-to-date. Any help would be nice.
