Game Crashes to Desktop

I have the retail version of splinter cell.The game goes through all the authentication and login and after all this a black screen appears for 1-2 seconds and the game crashes.

I have dell studio 17 laptop with windows vista,Directx11,ati mobility radeon hd 3650 and ati catalyst 10.5, can anybody please suggest me a soultion?

The funny part is assassin creed 2 which also a ubisoft latest game does not crash runs smoothly.
