I see nothing in the PC version that would get me to buy it as I have the X360 version.
Originally I would have gotten it, but there seem to be no improvements to the gameplay even though PC gamers like depth in their RTS games.
And to top if off, my PC can play Crysis, yet Endwar's PC suggested specs would mean I'd have to spend more on a processor/motherboard. No thanks.
Until I get Ubi to tell us here's what is enhanced and different on the PC version of Endwar considering our high end specs, I won't spend another dime. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

The only Thing that would make me buy the of version is that if can be modded to make it more tactical and real.

There seemed to be hints of this, but considering the checkered past the Ubi team has had with promises on Endwar like flanking, clan support, etc, I don't suggest you hold your breath on this even when they say "it's being worked on." http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I don't own a console, only PC.
As far as WiC is concerned I can only laugh. WiC is a horrible game. It's really just a game of blue and red icons (unit symbols) You don't actually see the units because the units are so small you can't see them, and there's no sense on zooming in because you'll miss out on the strategy if you do. Zooming in to look at the units serves absolutely no purpose. Add in the fact that you only control an average of 5 units and there's virtually very little online population these days, WiC is a dying game.
The main problem with WiC is it is too reliant on teamwork which makes 99% of your games no fun if you have noobs on your team.
But if you don't believe me then go ahead and waste your money on WiC. LOL! You'll see.
Also, the WiC maps suck hard compared to EndWar's. WiC's maps are unrealistic fantasy locations while EndWar has realistic real-life locations such as Paris, DC, Moscow, Military bases, etc.
(p.s. The main reason I'm dogging WiC is because GearHead is a punk.) </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
You forgot about the WIC mode that allows you to access to all units, not just a specialty.
One other thing to mention is that this mode was implemented PURELY as a result of listening to the community. As was cratering on the ground. People asked for explosions to create craters. the Wic team put it in AND not only did they put it in, but it has a gameplay effect in the sense that it lowers your vulnerability to line of sight attacks.

For ranked online games there is no mode like the one you mentioned. I've played nearly 4,000 games and have been playing since beta. You are wrong. Now there is a mode like the one you mentioned for 1v1 games only but they are not ranked and no one ever plays them. Those servers are always empty.

I've also played since the beta, but didn't bother with ranked games.
I guess if that's important to you then yes it could be a drawback. My point still stands though that this was something the community asked for and got. If more made the point about having it for ranked games, it might be there.
Massive as a development team is ultra responsive.

Yeah, the community does often get what they want from WiC because there is such a small community playing the game. Like I said, there's usually 30 to 100 players max on the American servers at any given time. The game developers, Massive Entertainment, are also a very small group of game designers with a very tight low budget. Consisdering the small budget they were allocated then yes the game is good, but it's definitely not on the same level as the multi-million dollar production of EndWar.

i dont understand why you would be worried about ubi patching this game... patches for the pc work 100% faster then console patches its common sence and for the WIC discussion have it played it lost it... dumb game lets be artillery have choppers kill 2 of my units im gone i lost http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif... and what fun is sing player with a trainer..there is no contest All your bases belong to us http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif screw PC haters just because they got WiC for a stupid console and complain about stability... theres what 1 patch every 3 months for most games... i remember playing Cod 4... there wasnt a patch in forever to fix the glitches... **** i sitll dont think they fixed them quit complaining just because the PC version will dominate just like it does against any console RTS...
if any of you wanna make a PC clan of JSF or russia Post message me

1) Hey Kruel how have you been. So gearhead is back on WiC? I thought he left...hmm...
2) Pretty much everything this guy says about WiC is true. If you think that EndWar's community is in it's death throes, you should see WiC. I remember the grand days of the professional gaming clans, and then Spearhead, BiO...now I go look at WiC's leaderboards and clan rankings and I scoff. I've been checking in here from time to time and I see "oh, noob this, nublet that..." Well you should see WiC. In fact, I should see it too. I left months ago, sometime before summer I believe, because the community was under 20,000 (not including various smurf accounts) and under 1000 of those were actually decent players. Now those are the DECENT players, as for serious gamers...under 250 I would guess. I don't know about now, but I wouldn't guess more than 7,000 players get on more than once a day, prolly less, and so few of those would be decent. Not only that, but as Kruelgor said, the most forum admins are jack***'s. Multiplayer...it was nearly impossible to find a server that had less than 2 arty nubs per team, and there were imbeciles dominating every server who might do something like spam heavy tanks on Liberty (2 base islands, and one big one). Last I checked, the abrams don't float. All that aside, the game is pretty satisfying and strategic...or at least it was when it was not a 100% garuntee that every pub game was an idiot fest, and it would take many hours to get clan matches going, and even THEN there were multiple glitches that I was aware of that could cause a freeze or crash. If you can get a small community of friends to join you, I would recommend it, but it's not worthit if you're going to be playing with pub imbeciles. Hell, every clan but 3 from what I can tell is a pathetic excuse for a measely collection of degenerates, and the top clans won't be accepting anyone bellow standard, so don't be expecting a good clan either. Singleplayer is a joke too. That said, feel free to waste your money on it.
3) Kruelgor, tell me how good this game is, will ya? I don't want to be wasting money if the PC version has the same debilitating imperfections that I see console owners whining about.
