the box art is'nt final but it looks like advanced warfighter and with IGN's summary it might be a cross between advanced warfighter and summit strike.

I doubt it will be released Q1 2010 because Splinter Cell just got bumped back. Maybe we'll see this game Q3 or Q4 but until they announce the title with a date I'm not holding my breath.

good idea, because holding your breath for a solid release date would mean you'd be long dead before this game ever comes out.

Personaly speaking i trust the resource , but correct me if im wrong but didnt ubi announce that the next instalment of ghot recon was not going to be based on the soldier of the future as we have seen in graw ??

Not that I've ever seen. They've always said that they wanted to tie it into their other Tom Clancy games like HAWX and EndWar, both of which take place in the future. Also "Ghost Recon: Future Soldier" is one of the names that they've recently trademarked.

I wouldnt trust it, they dont have any information on the game.

Just to clarify no one has any information on the game because Ubi hasnt released any. Which also means you cant have seen Ubi say the game would be based on anything specific, its simply not been said. They've not discussed the game at all.

Anything you've seen to date stating anything factual about GR4 beyond its in development would be based on rumour I''m afraid, sorry to dissapoint

There are old tea leaves out there (read it and weep (http://endwargame.us.ubi.com/article.php?news_id=8687)) and others that I've since misplaced where corporate Ubi reps have suggested GR/EndWar/HAWX tie-ins and/or movie spin-offs, so it would explain the members speculation, that is to say if anything Ubisoft releases (in print or otherwise http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif) is to be taken literally, or hold any weight.

But we're not talking general comments here, which saying the clancy games stories would have ties across games is, just a general statement. ghostsniper said the game was going to continue in the soldier of the future theme like GRAW, now that may or may not be true but as no game specific information has been released beyond the kind of general statement you refer to no one could possibly know that.

It amazes me as to were they get there information from ,i understand the box art is not final but i cant understand as to why ign would post images of game that has not been solid confrmation by ubi,if the rumors were true .

Yeah I forgot about their whole statement wanting to tie all those games together. Personally I hope they long forgot about it too because tying it to those two, less than stellar, games would be a step backwards.
