I posted a question to Ubisoft about the controller mapping problem. They gave me an excuse that there are hundreds of diffrent controllers and directed me here. I am using a very popular joystick. I know there is a big problem here. I just want to know if Ubisoft is going to come out with another patch to fix this joystick mapping problem or if I should just return the software.

This would be freaking halarious if I didn't shell out $40 for this piece of **** they call software. Imagine... a flight sim with no working joystck support!! HAHAHAHAHA WOoooooo! I want my money back!!

The entire development team should be fired. What a joke.

Hey, I'm not going to bash the game - I can run it using my mouse, and the graphic are great. The incomming gunfire and explosions are very realistic. I just want to be able to control the aircraft with my joystick. It would be nice if someone from Ubisoft would say that they know there are still problems and that they are going to fix the issues (which are really minor in the scheme of things) to make this a top notch game.

What joystick are you using? I have a ms precision pro2 and I got the game working fine with it, but it was a pain. The default mapping for the rudder and roll were reversed as well. I have a Saitek Cyborg too, but I havent tried it yet. Let me know and maybe I can help you out with it.

Lone Wolf, you said you got it working but it was a pain. Did you do something special you can recommend? I have the MS Precision 2 but haven't been able to get it working right. The patch only made it worse.

The patch made it worse for everyone. UBI is just a f.ucking joke that will not do anything to rectify this pitiful situation. I've read several threads on this sorry board about folks filing reports to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I highly encourage everyone to take the same action, or, at the very least, return this untested and disgraceful piece of sh:t back to UBI for a refund or choice of other game.

This whole situation is a complete outrage. The way UBI has handled themselves concerning our complaints has been nothing less than irresponsible.

UBI, IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO PROPERLY TEST SOFTWARE PRIOR TO ITS RELEASE, THEN DON'T F.UCKING RELEASE IT. THIS IS A FLGHT GAME IN WHICH MOST PLAYERS CANNOT USE THEIR JOYSTICKS. DOES IS GET ANY MORE PATHETIC? WISE UP, F.UCKERS!!!
