Foul, but improving. Got cut off by idiots twice on the way into work this morning, then discovered I had a cracked radiator once I got there. Compounded with the usual sprinkling of morons during the day, but at least I am not stranded as I borrowed the company truck until I can get my car to the shop Monday morning.

That sucks. I probably wouldn't be able to sleep; I really like to be up high, so my bed actually has two box springs. Between those, the frame, and the mattress, it's just a couple inches shy of 3' tall.

Irritated,
because I have been sick for a couple of days. coughing like crazy and I am finally physically okay to start training again after this shoulder surgery and now I get sick and the weather outside is absoulty horrid. Damp and wet. when it was supposed to be nice and sunny today.
I have not played my xbox in about 2 weeks, Just cannot find the time to actually sit down and relax lately(that is actually a good thing)
Let's see what else.
Oh did I say how sick and tired I am of being sick and tired.
Lisa is sick to and coughing like crazy. I am making her go to the doctor with me tommorow. I go for more blood work again.
I feel as though I am getting better but slowly. I can promise taking my vitamins is one of the things that have helped me get a little better though.
This pollen this season has kicked my butt.
I guess when it was at it's highest Pollen that is, was when I was riding my bike and just sucked a lot of it in.

Proud. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Let this story be a lesson to those who have yet to start college on how you handle advisor's who don't want to do their job.
Today was the beginning of early registration for the summer and fall semesters. I'm starting my second language this summer and I had to get a department approval before I could register, which means I had to deal with the undergrad Spanish advisor who is easily the laziest person at our University.
Last semester I called her two weeks before *early* registration and she didn't even lift my hold and get back to me until three days before regular registration was closed. I totally *****ed her out when she finally did call me back as I barely made it in the class...and then my Spanish class ended up getting canceled. I still don't think that was a coincidence. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif
Anyway, I was NOT wanting to have to wait on this woman again so I called her and her voice mail says, "I'm very busy but I promise to get back to you within 24 to 48 hours." However, I know based on previous expierence when it took her nearly 2 months to get back to my that was bull. So I called her back..and called her...and called her. I admittadly rang her phone off the hook until she finally answers and goes, "You have called me three times but I'm sorry I just don't have time right now. Let me deal with the three students I have waiting and I will call you back." This was at 11:30ish. There was really nothing I could do except say "Okay." So I hung up and waited. Much to my surprise.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif she didn't call me back. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif Well I was not about to have my scedule all messed up again like it was this semester so I went to my adviser and told her about it, and lifted the hold even though it wasn't for her department. And I got registered for my classes and except for the possibility that I may test out of one of the classes I'm currently registered for, I think my sched is pretty much set. All M/W/F classes. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
So anyway, I get a call from this lady at 5:02 according to my phone. I didn't answer it as I had left my phone at my desk and went to go to the soda machine. She left me a message and goes, "I went to release your hold and I saw you had someone else do it. I'm not sure they did it the way you wanted them to, and this type of hold has to be removed by our department anyway." So, I called her back and left her another voice mail saying. "I got your call but I'm too busy to answer right now. I will call you back within 24 to 48 hours."
Some advisers are just awful.

I love it...and Melonie isn't the only one who has moved a lot while doing homeschool I'm moving for my 12th time right now and I'm only 15!
It really depends what kind of strictness level you were taught at also. some of my firends almost never do school and do so little when they do do it that its pointless to even be doing it. I can learn more from playing video games all the time than they learn from their school. The disadvantages are that your friends are limited and sports and music lessons are harder to take(which I don't like anyway).Otherwise I am no different from my friends. Half expectant, half bored. I'm at work on a Saturday morning, the weather is horrible so I'm going to see almost no customers today. However, I got the new computer assembled yesterday at lunch, and am taking the opportunity to do all the formatting and software installation while I'm here, instead of having to wait until I'm home and spend hours doing it.

adskljdksjd!!!! AHHHH! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
That sums it up...
I was given a commission to do by a software company developing spyware/ antivirus CDs or something to that effect.
Anyway, they asked me to design them a logo that had to do with a crumbling shell. I came up with the idea of a woman, from profile view, with part of a "shell" crumbling off her, as if she were completely encompassed by it at one point. I sent a roughdraft sketch and had it approved. After that, I spent hours drawing the thing out, only to receive an email saying, "We wanted a front view pose."
What the heck?! The description clearly stated side view, and the roughdraft side view pose was approved, and now he says that he wanted another view?! Well heck, you should have told me that before I spent so much time (which I don't have a lot of) doing it!
Sorry for the rant, but I am fed up. I was very polite in my email I sent back to him, but I needed to vent.
I have way too many commissions and too little time to deal with garbage like this.
Anyway, here's the image, just for the heck of it.

Well there's a long-term contest going on by Cheetos called Orange Underground, where people take their snacks and do pranks with them.
For example the commercial where there's a girl at the laundromat and some old lady complains about the girl using more than one machine, so the girl takes Cheetos and puts them in the lady's whites.
So you should go to the vending machine and grab a bag, then do something evil with it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Awww that's too bad http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif It might not have anything to do with "not being good enough" though, considering there is a job shortage right now. It does depend on where you live, in the Pacific Northwest it's really hard to get a job right now. One of the RV manufacturing companies just laid off 500 workers, that's 500 more people without a job, and 500 more people looking for jobs that are probably more qualified than me.

I had to take that computer survey thingy and it said my answers weren't correct (how can an opinion bases survery have wrong answers?) and it said I could apply there again in like, three months or something.
EDIT: Oh yeah... Mood: Energized. Excedrin and energy drinks--never mix together; I have the shakes and everything from too much energy.

Mood: Pissed off.I was on the final lap on a pretty long race in GTA4,way ahead of everyone, then suprise! my car hits a little *** bump in the middle of the bridge and i land on my top,i climbed out of the car thinking there would be another one on the bridge, not one freaking car,and unlike online you cant press a button to go back to the last checkpoint.I eventually ran out of time for being out of a car too long.

I've had no instructions from a FM or CM, i have had instructions from higher management in Ubisoft which is way above CM and FM who have said the thread you wanted posted, they want removed, otherwise we will get a moaning from Rubicon, the publisher of the novel, simple instructions I sent you in a PM, don't post the thread I have to tell the CM and FM that it can't be posted, it's as simple as that.

Finals schminals, I don't study a whole lot for them and the ones I do study on I do poorly. So I do poorly in math.
Physics Pre-AP = 92, Music Theory = 100 (easy), Band = 95 (easy), English Language & Composition AP = 90something (easy), AP US History = who knows but I did well (kinda easy), Speech = 96 (easy), Geometry = Probably bad (really hard).
Mood: Tired.

Ok, so there's this competition that high school bands (good ones) compete in down here in Texas. It's called Honor Band and basically the high school bands (good ones) perform some music during concert season and record them at several different concerts. They then pick the best recordings from those concerts and pile them on one single cd. They then submit that cd of the best performances into the contest. The first round which is regionwide was today. Seven bands submitted recordings with three from my hometown. Five judges listened to the recordings and decided out of those seven which two would advance to the next round (which includes 3 other regions). We got a total score of 5 which means every single judge gave us first place. Our biggest competition didn't advance. Another band from our town advanced getting 2nd from most judges and 4th from one.
So we've just been declared the best high school concert band in our region.

Otherwise I'm quite chipper thinking about new games like FARCRY 2 etc...
