SDK PLEASE HELP!!

I went to install the sdk map editor to get unreal ed to get started and i used the "creating your first level using unreal ed" but when i open the unreal ed it just shows "classes" "inc" "src" but no editor screen like it mentions.....all i see is pictures of what makes the unreal ed map editor when they are put together (sorry for my poor explanation)...i just need help getting this started....any help is highly appreciated...thanks in advance!!
