It was an intresting cruise. Started off like any other gut wrenching day and a brisk sea state 5 was pounding west of Bristol.

After returning from the head the sonar operator informs us of a convoy headed out of Bristol.

"Good, just the thing to boost moral", I thought.

"Helm take us to periscope depth."

We fired a quick spread of 4 torpedos. sadly our max range was 1800 meters. Our supply officer is really going to pay for this one.

Sunk one Troop Transport, One Tanker and crippled 2 C-2's

Perfect, the crew is thinking of wearing thier new Iron crosses at the next formal gathering when we pull in.

CAPTAIN LOUD NOISE BEARING 000! ITS A WARSHIP!

Unfortunatly The sneaky British develoved a new way of submerging thier ships in an attempt to take out a U-boat.

After I survived, minus anything topside. My new sail and Deck gun were gone.

I promptly Surfaced and used a pair of bonoculars to grab brearings on the few ships that were crippled and finished them off.

Seeing a sup with a sail ripped off must have scared this convoy as they started darting about all crazy.

With my last torpedo I aimed towards a final merchant. Little did the Brittish know that this was non other than the Deadly Cruise Torpedo.

I slowly limped back to port, Sadly loosing 4 crew members that were feild daying in the sail.

Ahh, this had me laughing at Subsim, too.

Cruise torpedo! Hilarious!

It's a bug, but I can see how/why that would happen.

But as far as the ship... that's not the first report I hear of seas being a little too rough that they sink enemy boats a bit often.

Nice screens though!

nice pics and story

is the torp "flying" because of rough seas?

the seas were that rough. the torpedo was flying throuhg the waves. I had it set at surface.

I got credit for the kill on the destroyer. so I must have hit it.

I had to basicly surface to use the periscope it was so bad.

The only bug ive found is after saving the game wit hthe sail gone you reload, it will kill peopel it tries to auto put in the sail. =( lost 4 good men that way.
