contradiction in storyline

after completing vegas one and two , im a little rattled by the storyline http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif ...

for example at the end of vegas 1 after saving jo , gabe escapes in the chopper , now after seing the end message to be continued one would assume that the story would have left of from logan and the team tracking gabe...

vegas 2 however you hear your mission coordinater mention that logan is tracking irena in mexico , now correct me if im wrong but didnt irena die in the first one and if by somewhat illusion she manage to back to life my question is this ? , if michael walter and jung are supposed to be with logan in mexico ,what are they doing with bishop ?? , even if it was supposed to be some prequel to the first game , id say its a massive contradiction in storyline, or am i missing something??

Michael and Jung were with Bishop during the day while Logan was in Mexico with Kan and Gabe. Once Logan leaves Mexico and arrives in Vegas the following night Mike and Jung are transferred to him while Bishop goes with Gabe in NSA disguise to the oil fields.

The real contradictions in the story is how Gabe got from the oil refinery to Dante's in an hour(which took Bishop 3? the other way by chopper), and how Logan wasn't informed immediately by Chavez that Gabe was a traitor.

i think the real contradiction is how something bearing the name of a renowned and critically acclaimed author could have such a cliched B-movie story and poor storytelling

U r correct sir and I have read that on another source elsewhere a week ago. It was on Wikipedia, that has exposed both storylines and their conflicts to such events of the 2 games...

As what I have said Mr. dcp.... look up Rainbow Six... it will show the description of the series of games under Wikipedia... and that shows u the conflicting timelines as well....

You can say that when Bishop catches up with Gabe in the hanger at the airstrip theres a jet in the hanger which is used by Gabe to fly back to Vegas. I may have forgot but did Logan or any of the team members have direct comms with Chavez after the Dantes casino mission?

But yeah, the above post is what I was gonna say, just gotta pay more attention to your surroundings and then its not such a contradiction meanwhile there may be some but there isn't one about the time lapse to get to Dante's...a jet goes faster than a helicopter...end of story
