After trying fruitlessly to get over the last bridge using a glider, I found other ways to amuse myself. Anybody else been up here?

The merc drops an M4 when killed and leaves a working mounted machine gun.

That's the machine gunner you mention in the other Rebellion/glider thread johns1234.

But how did you get up there scoops?

You need to use the buggy to jump over the final bridge. Aim for the rise to the right of the bridge and hit it at full speed. You zoom past all the fighting. By taking the right angle on the jump, you can land squarely on the bridge, gun down the machine gunner and any mercs on the far side of the bridge. (There also may be a flight path to the right of the tower, bypassing the bridge altogether) Then navigate through the concrete barracades to get the jeep all the way to the archives building. Starting at the helipad, find a path through the trees to the slope on the right side of the building. Get up some speed and drive the jeep up the slope making a hard left at the top. The mounted gun is on a floating platform around the other side of the building.

Yes you can land 'smoothly' to the right of the tower, hit the checkpoint, and drive immediately to the Archives without paying attention to the mercs fighting near the bridge.
