Geforce 4 MX is NOT supported. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Sorry...
You'll either need to get a new card, or buy an xbox or something. And, even if you were to get a new video card, your CPU is pretty slow.

if you don't mind playing scct at 640x480 buy a 9600xt but if you want to play it at nice graphics you will have to buy a whole new pc

I didn't even notice he'd written 1.8Mhz instead of 1.8Ghz... I'm assuming he means Ghz... right.......?

I'm not sure why everyone seems to think that you need to play the game in 640 X 480 with anything but a 9600XT. I have an Athlon 2700+ with a gig of ram and a 9600 Pro 128 MB which is below an XT and running the demo at 1024 X 768 everything med. and it runs smooth as butter.

But sadly, your MX can't run the game. However you can get a 9600 XT or Pro for around a 100 now on Newegg. Good luck.

"Thx for your help! BTW these ain't my specs, its for a friend! "

Any way are you absolutely sure SPCT does'nt support Geforce MX? I mean my Geforce 5700 does'nt have PixelShader (not that i know of) but im still able to play with every thing on high excluding pixel shading. Its laggy but still works for me.

oops i meant 1.8GHZ http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

a 5700 does have ps, i had a 5700u and it had till ps2 ( or at least 1.4 )
5700 is the competitor of a 9600 ( even though a 9600xt kills a 5700u )

ok i got the exact name
nivida geforce 4xmx 440 with agp8x

The minimum requirements state that geforce 2 and above are capable of running SPCT, is there somewhere i can see for supported cards?

AGAIN, you will need a card that supports AT least PIXEL SHADER 1.1 the geforce 2 supports this, the MX cards by nvidia DO NOT support pixel shaders, they are just crappy things with really low pricing, get yourself at least a 5700u or 9600xt

UBI Store Listing for CT (http://store.ubi.com/item.jsp?item=68214&promo=kkscportal)

If you go to the bottom it lists the requirements for the game. In that section it lists the supported chipsets, and mentions the Geforce 4MX is not supported.
