View Full Version : Same Serial Nr on spanish Lockdown games!!!

Hi there!!
Lockdown has been available in Spain for some days now. I just found out that some users reported problems when entering their provided Serial Number. It said the Serial Number was blocked due to excessive attempts, or something similar. I also know that some of these customers got their game exchanged only to find out that the serial number on the exchanged game WAS EXACTLY THE SAME THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE!!!
Some members of my clan report the same thing. I don't know if ALL copies of Lockdown in Spain are affected, but reports of this problem are multiplying. I'm perplexed. Did Ubi assign ONE serial number for the whole of Spain? Is only ONE gamer per country allowed? (Please pardon this inevitable ironic outburst)
Fortunately I haven't bought the game yet, and now I doubt I ever will. I don't want to start another flame post, but it is nearly inconceivable the amount of disillusions the Rainbow Six Community has to deal with since the demo release.
Can someone from Ubi give us a hint regarding the extent of this problem and how the affected people can get a VALID serial number?
