I served in the Canadian Infantry for some time, and when on live-fire exercises I experienced and saw alot of realism. Because the tracer round is approximately every fifth bullet, it would be cool to see some of the tracers richocet off objects into the sky. So if it were darker you could see some of the rounds fly into the evening sky....How awesome would that be!!!! Will there be anything like that for this game?

good question...

I doubt that they would be firing tracers except maybe in light/heavy mg due to it also pointing a finger directly to guy shooting them.

I wonder also about the game having to "track" or render them farther than normal causing a slowdown during a firefight..humm

Thanks....on a similar note, will mounted LMG's have infinite ammo?

they didn't in the E3 demo. In the bottem right corner there was a little counter showing how many rounds were left.

My experience with bouncing tracers came mostly from the phosphorous dislodging after the round made impact with the target or ground behind the target. Once set a whole range ablaze because of it lol.

Totally....I love it when it's a super hot day and the grass is dry. A tracer lights the grass on fire and everyone has to drop their weapons to run down range and start fire fighting.....halarious...!!!

tracers are kinda spectacular especially on night missions, most hollywood films use them in war gunfights but i think they over use the trick, the best example iv ever seen in a game was on the humble PS1,the game was MOH underground which featured a LMG which iv yet to see bettered in any PC game, tracers, noise, great gun
