Im playing the game on a PC and I was thinking of getting the XBOX 360 Controller becuase it seems like it can hook up the the comp and im really at a lose to what good ones are on the market. Anyone running the PC version and have a good controller that they really enjoy using and integrates well with the game? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My configuration:

ROLL/JUMP/ACTION = X
2ND WEAP./GRAB/SPEED KILL = SQUARE
PICL UP/THROW/DROP DOWN = O
DAGGER ATTACK = TRIANGLE

LANDSCAPE VIEW = L1
REWIND/SLOW DOWN TIME = L2
WALLING/BLOCK/SWING = R2
WALK TOGGLE = R1

Next, are the 2 big buttons or what the hell is their name:

- left one:

MOVE FORWORD = [Y AXIS(+)]
MOVE LEFT = [X AXIS(-)]
MOVE BACKWORDS = [Y AXIS(-)]
MOVE RIGHT = [X AXIS(+)]

- right one:

CAMERA FORWORD = [SLIDER1(+)]
CAMERA BACKWORDS = [SLIDER AXIS1(-)]
CAMERA LEFT = [RZ AXIS(-)]
CAMERA RIGHT = [RZ AXIS(+)]

These are the most importand buttons. After you configure all of them, you can choose which one you want to use for START, and for the rest...
Not even the PS2 has so many buttons.

*Note* 360 controller doesn't work with TT. http://pc.ign.com/articles/675/675174p3.html I tried and confirmed this. Still a great controller though. Need some more games to test it out on http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The 360 controller does work in all PoP games. For T2T you need to install the DirectX distribution that comes on the game CD/DVD. Thats all and enjoy. The 360 Controller is the best i have used on the PC. The only problem is when its plugged in my G15's LCD and gkeys cease to function.

I usually use the logitech cordless rumblepad II (also available in corded version), and it's simply the best controller I've used so far (and I used a lot), it's a PS2 type controller, and I find the default controls pretty easy, and it works with all PoP games

I bought the XBOX360 controller specifically for this game and it works like a charm, plus it works in pretty much all of the other games I have. It's really comfortable and responsive, although mine has an issue with the left analog stick where it won't reset itself back to center when I press left on it, but this seems to be just an issue with it getting stuck...not lubricated enough or something.

All in all, it's a great controller and I'd recommend it over any PS2 clone controller.

Look at the controller from Saitek. They are based on the PS controller but got some buttons more. The quality is good and the design is ok.

I use a Logitech double analog stick controller. Looks exactly like a PS2 controller, exactly how I like it. Its very simple too, and it plays really good. Nedded it since my PS2 broke.

Hmmm, I don't see that. Oh well, I use the mouse and keyboard anyways. Would it have made the game more enjoyable? For me no. SOT still had the best camera control IMO.

Yes i also played SOT and WW with mouse and keyboard, i already got used to it but sometimes (specially in SOT) i needed some extra hand to press some button in my case my sister http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif And i agree with you the camara control was better in SOT, dont know in TT.

Aw how cute http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I don't have a litte sister to do that for me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif but I do have a 5 button mouse which makes retrieval attacks a simple vault or counter away http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif TT is like WW in terms of camera control. Not enough sensitivity on the horizontal axis and too much with the vertical. In SOT, I can swing the camera 360 degrees while in combat which gave me full field of vision unlike the other two. I still think SOT was a better build along with the story and graphics.

Oh wow, i really need to get a mouse like that..it will make things easier not only with POP game but also with other ones lol http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif There are lots of buttons to press http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

However if i play a game for now i prefer the mouse and keyboard...during my vacations i was able to play on xbox and PS2 and i must say that i was terrible with the controls lol http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif I played TT in PS2 for an hour and i could only reached the second save point lol http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif And i was a dissaster in the fighting including the fast kill http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif....I really missed my keyboard and mouse there.....but well is just a matter of getting use to it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
