Starting to think the email server for RUSE keys exploded.

I'm one of the few who got into the closed BETA, and I've been looking forward to it because I can actually stream it on my USTREAM for those people who don't get access to it, but sadly, I as well, have not received my key yet. I think the server got over-whelmed with Fileplanet people, and just either exploded or melted.

UBI, I love you, I always have, I've bought 99% of your games, but this is getting a little strange. You should have known better to use Fileplanet for a beta sign up client. They're buggy, and their users will flock to your servers like the ravenous dead.

I'm hoping that we can get this BETA key thing sorted out .. I've been looking forward to trying this game since day one of hearing about it.. and I've actually already got 60 bucks laid aside for it's PC version if the beta impresses me as does the "polished" demo.

I want this game, and I want this game to rock.

Come on UBI. Can we please get this sorted?

Dear AndrewX4, i've got my key only by asking directly to Wuzzi (god bless him) who told me that theyr mail servers ****ed up today, and he gave me the steam key. So sorry http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I think the problem is coming from people who got the keys from FilePlanet and sites like it. Everyone I know of who signed up on the RUSE website has their keys.

I waited 4 hours, so don't be worried, maybe he is sleeping or beign bombarder by huge giant flyng mokeys from radioactive space, we cant know anything about what HE is doing!! Hope you'll get it sonner as possible.

You seem to forget that for RUSE, they need a specific userbase in order to get it tested. Whether or not the mail server dies or not is inconsequential of course, but it's a little backward to expect that Ubisoft would not try and pull the stops they need to get the testing demographic they want.

If they give out a certain amount of keys to people, they should be able to accomodate for that amount.
Why give out more keys than you have, and more than you can handle?

Think this is poor management because if you got a key you should be able to play.

I got my key around 11PM CST on 11/29 but I'm not sure if it was a Ubi. key solely or one from Fileplay as I did sign up for both.

Only one key I got so something did get jacked up. I'm thinking the normal Ubi keys went out first thing at midnight EST on 11/29 and today, all the other websites keys were going to go out (Fileplanet, Fileplay etc etc)

i used the promo code from file planet but signed up on the RUSE website and i still havent gotten my key

The thing is, no email was sent giving us the VIP beta code. When I signed up for FilePlay, it gave me a code right there which I entered into Ubisoft. I received no email from Ubisoft or Fileplay that had the code recorded so that may hurt some people if they didn't manually record there code

In Fileplay, the RUSE-XXXX-XXXX... key can be found under my account -&gt; Keys and Serials.

i haven't got any reply yet too. But Wuzzi promised that we'll have key, and i believe it will be so. May be they are simply very busy to answer for such amount of emails now/
