I have a wireless router (Very Good one paid 200 for it) and i also run a server. I have no NAT Firewall or Proxy on my router, i cannot host. It may have something to do with my DMZ but am not sure. Please help me to try and find out how to host.
Any help is welcome and thanked

Open these ports in your router:
Outgoing:
216.98.52.30 UDP 44000
216.98.50.30 UDP 44000
Incoming:
UDP 5777(client)
UDP 5778 (server)

If you're going to do that, you might as well just set yourself as the DMZ computer

I have NO firewall so what would be the point of port forwarding, also i have an SMC wireless router. How do i make my computer the DMZ host without it effecting my internet bill and other computers, especially my server, Also if i made my computer the DMZ would my dad know or would it kinda be anoynamous.

I can host Delta Force: Black Hawk Down just fine but not CS or RS. I really want to get a server going but in my router set up (The website interface) It says nothing about port forwarding because my firewall is disabled and nothing about DMZ.

Oh yes, also i can see my true ping. Not the constant 1000 i hear about from other people using a router.

Also, i see my server on server list using generic multiplayer. AND!! I also noticed i can join games through ubi.com and NOT RS generic MP.

DMZ only forwards ports 1-1024, RvS uses 5777 5778 ect...

just because u have a router does not mean that u cant see ur ping. i mean really now. its very simple. its ur router. and of course u cna join thats not what its mean to stop. the reason it wont let others join is because of the router. take the advice earlyer and open the ports. or DMZ whatever

If you have a router and a regular internet connection that has one IP leased YOU HAVE A NAT. You may not realize it but you do. A NAT works a lot like a firewall in some ways. You'll have to configure your router to route the ports people are saying to your server box.

U DO have a NAT, that's how the Internet is shared by using one IP to Virtual IP's by using their respective MAC's. Anyway, to host a game u need probably a software called WinPoet or something to help u Not emulate the bridge with ur NAT. By the way, you wont be able to connect more PCs if you dont use ur NAT (it's self explanatory)
