Cannot connect to ubi.com (multiplayer)

I receive the following error when attempting to play multiplayer:

"Cannot connect to UBI.com"

I have seen a few posts on this but no solution. I enabled port forwarding (UDP & TCP) on: 6668, 40000, 40005, 40100, 41006, 42000, 44000, 45000.
I also completely turned off the windows firewall... and am using no other firewall software.

Any help?

How do you connect to the internet? Directly to the provider?

Nothing all that crazy... just through my router (I enabled all ports listed above) which is connected to my cable modem. I have no problem playing other online games, even MMORPG's...

The probelm that i can connect to ubi hasn't be solved, yes i know about firewalls, and it has nothing to do with it, i have no problems ever with any other game.
Something is wrong i think it has to do with the fact that i have a proxy server...who knows
