I need your help

Hi dudes

i bought this game near the end of Feb 2003 and at the time i had a GeForce 2 mx 100/200 and the game ran slow as expected, a week ago i bought a GeForce 4 mx 440 and i played the game expecting performance improvements but the game still runs slow

My specs are

Intel Pentium 4 1.6GHz
524 RAM
GeForce 4 mx 440
44.03 nvidia drivers (tried all previous versions and no improvement)
Direct X 9.0
Windows XP SP 1
Splinter Cell with 1.2 b patch (again no improvement)
48x CD-ROM Drive

My Dads specs are

Intel Pentium 4 2GHz
524 RAM
GeForce 2 MX 400
44.09 nvidia drivers
Direct X 9.0
Windows 98 SE
Splinter Cell no patches applied
48X CD-Rom Drive

the game on my dads machine runs as smooth as silk but my machine is a little better than his but my machine runs this game very slowly http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

2 things: 1: get directx 9.0a. 2: defrag your hard drive.

Even on a GF4 this game won't run fast. The Xbox only runs it at 24 fps. Make sure your video settings in the game are set to the same as your Dad's.
