I had read a while ago that enemies re-spawn and didn't really think too much into it, just thought of it as a minor detail. But today I got to thinking, will enemies re-spawn indefinitely or will there be a limit to how many times the enemies will re-spawn?

They will indefinitely re-spawn.
This is also a gameplay reason.
Imagine they wouldn't respawn, after many hours of playing you will have a big open-world graveyard and that's not really fun is it?
Plants >regrow< in realtime and people respawn after a while.
Don't worry, you won't really notice that (although a reviewer said he noticed it) but it keeps the world alive and you will always have plenty to kill.
I hope this answers your question.
Feel free to ask what ever you like.

Oh ok, I think I misunderstood. So enemies re-spawn within the entire game world. I was thinking more along the lines of you go into an enemy strong hold and would never be able to kill all the enemies within a certain area because they keep re-spawning every time you kill one of them.

i think im right, in an interview a ittle while ago. lp or clint said that enimes respawn when you go sleep or reload the game. so if you played the game 4 hours straight. then went back to the place where you killed them they will still be dead.

Yea, and while you do that you get that Deep voice saying:
RAMPAGE ; MULTIKILL ; MOOOOOOOOONSTERKIILL
No, when you are about to wipeout an outpost, they won't immediately respawn, that would be redicilous :P

I just kept thinking how that could take away from the realistic nature of the game. That is a load off my mind though, I mean I can definitely see the challenge factor with enemies re-spawning indefinitely but I can also see the annoying factor in it as well.

Trust me it's probably hard enough to wipeout an entire outpost with 20 soldiers guarding it and your are alone http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

So I have a question. If I invade an enemy camp and kill every enemy inside, how long do I control that camp until they respawn?

as sonic said - in an interview they said that the AI will spawn when u load a game, go to sleep in a hut or when u get far away from the location of carnage and the area u left will be removed from memory.
if bet that if u stay in the area than they wont come back magically until u leave.
it makes perfect sense and im happy with they way it should work. i dont mind not feeling like i havent permanently killed all the AIs in a camp. i want the action and this way the action will constantly be there for me.
also as far as i understand the factions will switch hands on locations. like if u help one faction in one mission to take over another yard than that yard will switch hands to the other faction u helped. it wont matter much to the player as he will be attacked by both factions anyway, but it makes things feel more dynamic and as the player you DO get a sense u made a difference.
if someone knows im wrong than tell me so.

I'm sure they won't "respawn" while your are still there, so that camp actually belongs to you as long as you want :P
Remember, this game unlike all the others promissing the "Do what you want" scenario, actually delivers that to a great amount!

It does make since to do it like that, keep enemies re-spawning through out the game. Should make the thrill of the game continue even after you destroy every outpost.

I guess enemies are going re-spawn only until you tracked and brought down their corresponding leaders, which will disorganize and eventually wipe out their division. Maybe if you raid an UFLL camp and sweep the area from enemies, it might later be taken over by APR people and vice versa...

Its not his either since he is American...
...but the point is a good one, there are many users here who are trying to enjoy a forum in what is not their native language, a little tolerance and support goes a lot further than sarcasm in that respect
