Let me explain the new gametypes from the guide,
Deathmatch: spys cant use flash bangs, merc. cant use flare also cant use emf vision, motion vision, or lazer merc. can only use Torch light.Also merc. cant preform bezerk att.
Boming:A spy has to plant c4 in the objective spot and when set the countdown starts, merc. have to deactivate it.And spys have to set it again until detination has compleated.
Disk hunt:Spys have to collect randomly placed disks and once a certain number of disks are collected then spys win but if a spy is killed all of his diskes are droped.

What you're referring to as "bombing" is actually called "story mode" and bombing is just one part of it. Story mode combines a number of different kinds of objectives including bombing and taking drives/discs from one place to another.
