My oppinion about Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Versus Multiplayer Mode

I played the Single Player Mode of this game ages ago and i liked it, but now i tried out the Versus Mode too.
After that, im very sorry to saying this, but cant recommend the Multiplayer Mode of this game to others, cause the "PRO" players are very unfriendly with new players, abusing with the newbie status of the new player and even insulting him... :/
Here must i point to that, in every cases are exclusions. Here too.

They said its a GG and not for noobs :S
So, basically i cant recommend this game for new players, cause in most cases they cant get help from the old players.

OFF: I must notice, that im an old player too, but in an other game and im admin in an official server of that game....and....
ON:
as an admin i think the admins of the servers of this game and the old players too must have much better attitude, or the new players will choose other, - in this manner - better multiplayer games.

Indeed, it's a good idea to help out noobs but they should know which servers, that are good for doing so and which are not. In general it may be just a waste of time to train noobs - before they get good at the game the servers will be shut down. Unless of course these noobs would like to play Project Stealth (http://community.projectstealthgame.com/) (a mod with similar gameplay that is still not finished yet) where they would be able to use the skills from CT Versus. Maybe they would be able to use them in Conviction's MP too but nobody really knows.

But yeah, you may be right. This game (and most of the community) may not be very noob friendly. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The_Niar-Guy : First i must let you know, that the name of the servers, which i joined has not contained such things what about you said, so i think that it wasnt my mistake.
Beside that, maybe i use the wrong method and there is an other way to get the list of the available servers like using the ingame server browser to listing the servers on ubi.com, but i dont know whats that. So, if this is right, then pls help me in this too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif , cause im mostly able to find only maximum 3 or 4 servers.

The reason why you only see 3-4 servers is because there isn't so many people who still plays it and because your filter is set not to show full servers. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

And the reason why people insult you in normal servers too is probably because your teammate ect. wants to show the other players that the lost games definitely isn't his fault and that he's very good even though he lost. Nah, there are still nice ppl out there.
But I, too, get ****ed when a noob is destroying my whole game on a "pros only", "ggs" or "no noobs" server. I won`t kick at once, but ask the noob to leave..if he doesn`t....kick!
Me and my mate got no problem in helping new players to learn the game, but not when we want to have serious games.
I recommend to join "noob"-servers, if available. If not, join another server and tell those guys that you are new to the game.
They will tell you then, whether they got any problem with that.

You're going to judge a multiplayer ONLY based on it's community? A community that any game with a steep learning curve has?

Good players usually dont want to waste their time with people who don't really know how to play. It's so frustrating having a team mate like that and sucks any fun that can be had out.

I played the xbox version and was really good. I've been thinking about getting it on PC though (that's the reason I've been around the forums.)
