Just to first voice my appreciation of this beautiful series of games that, by odd coincidence, seems to be going to every single place I visited in the Middle East and Italy before I'd even heard of the games.

Sorry to use my first post to ask a question, but is it at all possible to remove armour in the game?

I've seen numerous other threads asking the same thing, but they've all been console-based and therefore impossible. I figured with a PC bunch it would be easier, perhaps finding a way of editing the game's files? There must be some way, although am I right in assuming that due to the void of any mods, that there is no SDK of any kind?

I just think it's a shame that you're forced to keep it on, and the game saves after you buy items so you're unable to revert back if you don't like the look. Adding a simple patch to enable this would, I think, greatly improve character customisation and therefore the player's affiliation with the character.

Ah sorry, I forgot to mention - this is for AC II

Oh okay. But isn't it possible to do the same in ACII?

I'd assume not - it seems like an Brotherhood specific glitch. I'll give it a shot though.

EDIT: Nope, nothing I try works. But there must be a way of editing the game's files if only we knew where to look.
