Np, Bud.

I must say, even if it turns out that the max resolution is 1024x768x32, with FSAA up it still looks **** good.

My thoughts exactly, and always have been. Although, I can understand why TFT owners would get stroppy about it...

Map looks fine to me.

Time-resources management is tricky in development and they seemed to do a good job making the most out of their time as well as their resources. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Maybe the map will be moddable. Just have to wait and see.

Remember that these pixellated views of the map seem to be at full magnification. Sure, they could have been smoother, but how often are you going to zoom in that closely, and will you care all that much? I know I won't. Other aspects of the game are more important.

Check out the moddel viewer!! so many nationalities , and look! the ships have different versions for the different years.

Yes. I predict that this area of the sim will keep modders busy for a long time. If the game has this feature, it suggests that ship types can be easily added or modified, and that changes based on date are already included in the sim, which makes it that much easier to add a great deal of historical realism with very little effort.

I hope they release mod tools so that we can edit the data files and skins quickly and effectively. I can hardly wait to get working on this game. It seems like the possibilities for making the game suit each individual player's needs are endless. It's the first time since RB3D that we've had a game that really shows potential for long-term replayability and modification.

All aspects of the game are important! it looks like something of my Amiga
I will zoom in all the time,to make fine adjustments and plot my attack!
Seeing as the map was there from the start they could have made a copy of an original so easy without it spoiling there scedule.

Seems that DevTeam plans to made edition tools available for the community, allowing us to change poly count. In my opinion, it means that we will be able to get different graphic resolutions.

And that the will of Beeryus of doing mods is granted for sure. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

This game will be even more flexible than SHII.

I never said they weren't. All I was saying was that I thought there were a lot of other things that were more important. IMO this one ranks alongside the lifeboats.

this game will be an addiction.. looking at the videos and pictures makes me realize how close to perfection this sim truly is.. this sim will be a holy grail of sims for years to come.

Aww, guess we'll not see Vesikko in the game, since there's not Finland in the model viewer's list http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif It's not that it will ruin my game experience, but I think it was a nice addition when Vesikko was in SH2, since it was a kinda prototype for the TypeII
