Though it's not official from Ubisoft, I sure as hell wouldn't doubt that it gets delayed.

Doesn't come as a surprise though...

Ubi would have 2 choices after not showing it at e3 (probably means its not even close to done):
A) Release the game ASAP, possibly november/december with absolutely no hype because it wasnt at e3 and X07 is cancelled...
or..
B) Delay the game til March of 08 (which actually will then get delayed til May 27th ship date) Thats basically what every SC game has done so far.
I think Ubi likes to put out false release dates to get people hyped, then delay it just long enough for them to get others hyped but not long enough to lose interest. Thats my theory.

I hope its true, more time to work on the game and a game off the already huge holiday list.
Doesnt surprise at all, though.

Exactly, they always put out false release. They did it with CT too and i think CT was delayed one more time. Maybe SCC will have the same fate.

I'd Rather have it delayed... the other option is the stuff getting patched... There's only one thing worse: stuff not getting patched!

I so hoped they would delay this game cuz' right now it is nowhere close to done. It's just bad and needs a lot of work.

Cant say Im either surprised or bothered. They said in an interview that Christmas 07 was ambitious. Thus was they will have more time to polish the game and work out the kinks. In the meantime Halo 3 and Assassins Creed will keep me entertained.

It was so clear it'll happen SCDA also had to be released on March 2006 but it was delayed so now in SCC they will put it back in the "original" date of the series to come out - March

It's good they delayed it. Now I don't have to face the dilemma... Buy GTA4 or Splinter cell. Now it's GTA http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Here's the most reliable source, since the original link looks like it was sh@t out by the internet. They also talk about UBI's Sales doubling. So perhaps they are using the extra time to listen to the public? Maybe throw in a lil SvM? One could only hope........

I can't recall how it went last year but shouldn't we got a message from a community manager by now that's telling us it's true?
And even if Rhoulette is on vacation I asume they got a "back-up" comminuty manager from a different ubisoft trilogy who can come and confirm this?
Anyways certainly not a surprise but I don't care much about it anyways seeing which direction this game is going (and already was with DA)
