when playing Splinter Cell, and thermal vision is switched on, the coolest thing i like about it is when you shoot someone dead, their heat signature slowly fades away

i noticed that this doesnt happen in RS3

did any of you guys want it to be like Splinater Cell?

If you are travelling at the speed of light in your car, and turn the headlights on...does it do anything?

yeah i've thought about that alot, its so hard to know whether what your seeing is a living head, or a dead foot when on XBL. for example in the red teams spawn on Warehouse, its dark, so i often use thermal to seek out any spawn campers, but it often turns out to be a dead body

I thought in RS3 if you shoot them they disappear, so the heat does go.

no, the bodies only dissappear in the Single Playr missions, not multiplayer. But yea they should have added that feature so it wouldn't be so hard to figure out whos alive and whos dead. (Even though it isnt that hard to figure out, would be nice though)

I wish you could fake death, that would be cool. But they would have to sort out the thermal vision. Slump up against a wall, would be great.

Bodies do disappear in multiplayer Cheeba. Maybe you just don't live long enough to find out? lol j/k. But seriously, they do. I notice this all the time and it bugs me.

i've never seen a body disapear in EITHER MP or SP through Heat vision

in Splinter Cell it happens right before your eyes, you can actually see it happening

but in RS3, it doesnt happen at all as far as i see, and i've stared at a body on Thermal for over five minutes

for some reason, it seems that some of you, like doobus here, have not read what i wrote at the TOP OF THIS THREAD

i said THEY DONT DISAPPEAR WHEN LOOKING THROUGH THERMAL VISION, meaning that their HEAT SIGNATURE goes cos they are DEAD and have no BODY HEAT

yuo can still see the body in normal and night visions, but it would be better if they faded to blue in Thermal Vision like they do in Splinter Cell

All I play is team survival and I always know who is alive or dead because me and my team COMMUNICATE!!!

I wish that everytime I play Peakes. But how long does it take for a dead body to cool off??

yeah man, the body heat does NOT go away instantly in real life. it takes hours depending on the temp of the place the person dies. IN rainbow six 3 on xbox live the body dissapears only if its in a DEDICATED SERVER. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THOUGH.

That was a cool effect in SC, and it would help if the heat signature faded, at least partially - especially in MP.

But the thing I missed the most was being able to take out lights. A flashbang in a darkened room would really be effective then...

actually, it DOES go away that quickly

the moment the heart stops beating and the blood stops pumping, there is nothing to heat the bodys system

in SC, what you see there is pretty much what happens in real life

and why are people talking about "i know people are dead, or alive on my team cos we COMMUNICATE!"

so what?! that has NOTHING to do with this thread at all!

i know right , so what if your team communicates... hehehehhe but anyway, we should make one more topic about what we would like to see on RAINBOW SIX 4, the last one got too big and confusing.

Splinter Cell does a few things that RS3 doesn't... for example, the ability to shoot out lights would have been another good thing to port over.
