Traditionally speaking an Open Beta is where the entire gaming community is able to download the beta and give feedback on a form, with nothing more than a simple registration needed. Some posts on this forms seem to hint that the process for this open beta test will will more complex and strenuous. Does anyone know anything?

Unfortunately, I think nobody knows - as widely shown by the lack of answers to the countless times people asked exactly what you ask.

Good question, been looking for the answer to that myself - hopefully we'll hear soon!

Don't think it'll be too hard if you pony up for that fileplanet account though http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

How many open betas have you played? Traditioanlly, in my book, there's very little they share in common apart from being avaiable to anyone.
luxulus, people may ask things but if the developers focused on answering questions the only thing that it would provoke is more questions to be popped. I think it's better for the developers not to give all the info the community asks for. It's what closed betas are there in the first place.

Of course, I understand. You have to realize that my answer was quite ironical, though, since the same question - or variations of - was repeated all over the first thread of this forum. I first wanted to remark how unnecessary it was to open another thread about it, but then I preferred to merely suggest it.

Why such hostility all over these forums? After years and years of playing Heroes I find these forums and am disappointed by the community which plays my beloved game.

I don't see any hostility! Maybe I express myself too bitterly? I beg your pardon and I punish myself -> http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I didn't feel insulted, and if I in any way insulted you, it wasn't intentional http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
